Click-O-Mat alpha version

Click-O-Mat is a helper tool to use with Canoo WebTest.

It follows the same paradigm as the MaxQ project and owes a lot of inspiration to it. The tool works as a proxy, analyzing http traffic between client (browser) and server (webapp). It produces the WebTest code that one would otherwise need to write manually to produce that traffic.

The alpha version is known to have a lot of missing Features but the existing ones should be good enough to play around with it. Alpha testers are welcome to provide any kind of feedback on the Feedback page.

Two words of caution: The most common misconception about record/replay tools is that you can brainlessly click trough your application and replay will take no effort. This doesn't work (or very, very rarely). You still need to find out, what to verify on a page and you need to care about duplication and intention-revealing names in your tests. However, tools like the Click-O-Mat may save some typing...
The second-most common misconception is that these tools get you started when you don't know what to do. This is wrong. Using the Click-O-Mat demands that you would otherwise be able to write that test manually.
